"Today started out pretty early going
to Rick Owens," says Noel. "It was of course a delight as I am a fan of
his interior design as well as his clothing. We were greeted by our
friend Lucca from Italy and promptly turned over to Conrad, a Rick Owens
model-turned-salesperson. Seeing the collections from someone who has

"Rick’s collection was beautiful,"
says Noel. "We wrote what we think is a perfect order for our San Diego
clientele, introducing them to Rick Owens slowly and showing how
feminine Rick can be. These pieces last a lifetime."

"Then we were treated to an amazing
lunch cooked in the kitchen of his showroom where I politely kept
dropping my peas off my fork," says Noel. "They rolled off the steel
table and onto the concrete floor. We had a nice laugh."

Olivia at Maison Martin Margiela," says Noel. "The architecture of the
'nunnery' where they housed orphans back in the day was a big delight
for me as a designer."

essence of what Margiela is about: Simple materials put together
